Fall is here, and Seguin is going nuts! 🥜

It’s almost time for the annual Pecan Fest October 25th- 26th, a full weekend of family fun, shopping, food, history, and local events celebrating everything that makes Seguin special.



This year, one of the highlights are Dog Friendly Seguin Events. for pet lovers is Bark-Tober Fest, hosted by Uptown Collar and Seguin Brewing Co. on Saturday, October 25th from 12–5 PM.


🐾 What to Expect

Bark-Tober Fest will be packed with pet-friendly fun — from vendors and adoptions to costume contests, craft “Paw-ritas,” and great company!

You’ll find:

  • Local pet vendors offering treats, accessories, and grooming goodies.

  • Several Rescues sharing their mission to rescue and care for pets who deserve a second chance at love and comfort.

  • Petopia Pet Salon (that’s me!) — stop by to say hi, grab a treat, and chat about gentle, low-stress grooming.

  • Seguin Brewing Co., always dog friendly & serving up their seasonal craft favorites (and yes — they’ll be mixing up those Paw-ritas!) 🍹🐾

While you’re out, be sure to visit Central Park at 201 S. Austin St., where the city’s official Pecan Fest celebration will be in full swing. It’s the perfect way to spend a fall weekend.

  • A historic pub crawl honoring Juan Seguin, with a "Most Creative Hat" Contest

  • Classic cars, live music, pecan crackin' contest, and all things pecan
