🍻 Pints for Senior Pups: A Dog-Friendly Event at Guadalupe Brewing Co.

Sunday, November 2nd, from 1–5 p.m., Guadalupe Brewing Co. & Pizza Kitchen will be hosting Pints for Senior Pups, a community event benefiting Sweet Dreams Pet Sanctuary — and Petopia Pet Salon is proud to participate & spread the word! If you love dogs, good food, and local craft beer, this is a perfect way to spend your Sunday while supporting a great cause!

🐾 Supporting Senior Pets in Need

Sweet Dreams Pet Sanctuary is a local nonprofit that rescues and cares for senior, disabled, and special-needs pets who deserve comfort, dignity, and love in their golden years.

Sweet Dreams Pet Sanctuary was founded by the amazing Carole Harrison, out of compassion for senior pets who too often face heartbreak late in life. Many elderly owners experience sudden health or life changes — a medical crisis, the move to assisted living, or the loss of independence — and their most difficult decision becomes what will happen to their beloved companion.

Far too often, these pets end up in shelters where senior animals are the least likely to be adopted. They wait in kennels with food and water but little comfort, hoping for an adopter who may never come. It’s devastating — both for the pet and for the loyal owner who has no other option.

Sweet Dreams focuses on giving these pets a second chance. Their mission is to provide a safe, loving home and lifetime care for senior and special-needs animals who might otherwise be overlooked. In doing so, they not only ease the heartbreak of separation but also help relieve the burden on overcrowded shelters and rescue groups working tirelessly to save lives every day.

Events like this weekend’s Pints for Senior Pups help raise the funds needed for food, vet care, and daily expenses — every pint, slice, and auction item sold helps another senior dog live a happier, more comfortable life.
